"All doors are open to you and everybody welcomes you. That makes it very simple to meet other people and you hardly ever feel alone."

International Projects

VIA University College is engaged in various international research and development projects as the leading institution or as a partner. Projects are initiated under a variety of funding programmes and are often interdisciplinary and cross-sectorial yet always rooted within the educational fields of VIA's Faculties and Schools.

We are very interested in participating in projects of high quality and of relevance to our programmes, so please contact us if our competences are relevant to your anticipated projects. The purpose of every project, in which we participate, is to foster competences and professional methods of the staff and the students – of their originality, openness and acceptance of diversity.

When participating in furthering innovation or development of e.g. education in other countries, we firmly believe in working closely together with local partners so the work is done in respect of the local culture, traditions and ideas and fulfils the actual needs of the locality.

In addition to specific output of a project, close cooperation between partners is an opportunity to identify common issues and complementary competences which often leads to further and more qualified academic collaboration between the partners.

Examples of projects:
International project, Faculty of Education and Social studies

Research and PhD projects, Faculty of Health Sciences
