Bachelor Programme in Biomedical Laboratory Analysis
The Bachelor Programme in Biomedical Laboratory Analysis lasts 3½ year (210 ECTS credits).
The objective of the programme is to qualify graduates to work independently as biomedical laboratory technologists and to play their part in professional and interdisciplinary teams.
As a Bachelor in Biomedical Laboratory Analysis you are a generalist rather than a specialist. You are qualified to work in clinical laboratories within 6 different clinical specialties: Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Immunology, Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine, Clinical Microbiology, Pathological Anatomy and Clinical Neurophysiology.
The course comprises 7 semesters each divided into 2 modules. A module is a separate programme unit designed to enable the students to develop broad academic qualifications. Modules include theoretical and clinical elements.
The programme is offered on campus Aarhus N from September 1, 2011.
