Teaching style

Danish higher education is famous for an innovative approach of high international standard. The teaching methods are student-centered and include independent study initiative. Students play an active role in the learning process and take responsibility for planning and carrying out projects, either independently or in groups.

Our teaching is based on business practice and applied theory. Theory is approached through assignments, cases and problem-based learning. Furthermore, we link theoretical knowledge with specific cases developed in close cooperation with local companies.

Problem-based learning is an instructional method which allows students to work together in teams to answer a question or solve a real-world problem. Each team will have a supervisor who will guide the team through their work.
You will also practise working in multi-cultural teams across subjects and classes with the aim of strengthening your intercultural skills and competences.

We value close contact between students and lecturers. This means that tuition is class-based, consisting of classroom and dialogue teaching, short classroom lectures, presentations and workshops as well as cross-disciplinary case work, projects and other exercises.
