Semester overview
The AP Degree Programme is structured around a number of themes – one for each semester. In each semester, the teaching is therefore planned in a way which focuses on the theme of the semester and includes all courses of the semester.
For further information about semester themes, please click on the figure above.
For each passed semester you will obtain 30 ECTS points, providing you with a total of 120 credit points after two years of study. This is in accordance with the ECTS framework set out by the European Commission. 60 ECTS credits are attached to the workload of a full-time year of formal learning (an academic year) and the associated learning outcome. In most cases, the student workload ranges from 1,500 to 1,800 hours for an academic year, whereby one credit point corresponds to 25 to 30 hours of work. For further information on ECTS, please click here.
Each semester contains a complete and partial learning sequence with its own exams. Thus, it is possible for students to complete parts of the study programme with documented equivalent qualifications from another Danish or foreign educational institution. Foreign students may follow one or several semesters of the programme.
Apart from the professional teaching, each semester also focuses on your personal competences in the subjects taught, enabling you to participate in diverse types of cooperation. For further information about semester themes and course content, please confer the curriculum.
