Student jobs

International students from the EU/EEA are allowed to work unlimited hours, while students from the rest of the world can work for a maximum of 15 hours per week during the academic year and full-time during the summer holidays (June, July and August).

The minimum wage per hour in Denmark is approximately EUR 12.

However, due to the recent slowing down of the Danish economy, finding a student job is difficult in Denmark at the moment.

Therefore, it is very important that new students make sure, before their arrival in Denmark, that they have the money necessary to pay for study costs such as tuition fees (for non-EU students), books, accommodation, living expenses and leisure time activities.
